Vast majority of Burton products geared toward male audience and beyond board customization interactive experience online there is great potential that they could become the next experiential brand. They released a catalog geared specifically to women and women’s hardgoods. With Burton as one of our clients I proposed an online experience to portray them as supporting women’s performance and style gear.
Taking a simple women’s snowboard catalog I created an online experience for mix and match custom gear and inspiration from women all across the globe. The site concept, content and design I created as a pitch for our existing client, Burton to increase engagement with audiences providing up-close interviews with snowboarders and fashion forward celebrities. Cultural and stylistic influences were contributed by a user generated mood board where fashion designers would critique the combination of patterns and moods for maximum personal effect. Users could follow episodic fashion shows around the world bringing appreciation for the new, and unknown. Set inside cinematic ice capsule backdrops this experience meant to celebrate “B as you are” Burton attitude in everyone.
